Children are enrolled throughout the school year. Children may stay in school through their kindergarten year, which is consistent with the normal three year Montessori cycle.

Half day, full day and extended day programs are available for your convenience. 

Half Day Program:      9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon 
Full Day Program:       9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
Extended Day Care:    7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 

Daily Class Schedule

7:00 a.m. - Extended day care

8:30 a.m. - Group activity: story time or music/movement

9:00 a.m. - Individual activity period. Children choose activities, teacher demonstration or assistance as needed. Teacher initiation of pre-planned lessons for individuals, or small groups, as needed. Morning snack (individual choice during the week).

11:00 a.m. - Outdoor play

11:30 a.m. - Group activity - story time, music and/or drama

12:00 p.m. - Lunch - Children bring lunch from home. School provides milk.

1:00 p.m. - (1) Rest time: children relax on mat with their own blanket. We plan recorded music or stories. Sleeping is optional. (2) Non-nappers: work with teachers on class work.

2:00 p.m. - Group activity - story time, music and/or drama

3:00 p,m. - Full time children depart. Extended day care begins.

4:00 p.m. - Outdoor play

5:30 p.m. - Group activity - story time, music and/or drama

6:00 p.m. - School closed
